There is something about the summery scent of the sea breeze, the turquoise blue of the water, the silky sand against your feet, the strong taste of chilled ouzo, the grilled seafood and the warmth of a Greek smile. It makes you think of the ultimate summer experience you need to live at least once. The Hippie Fish Restaurant has been serving the freshest fish on the island of Mykonos since 1978. This is actually where the famous movie Shirley Valentine was shot in 1989. The place has been completely renovated, always in accordance with the Mykonian architecture and island style, but its delectable cuisine and exemplary service remained the same.
The Hippie Fish Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and mainly serves fish, seafood and Mediterranean dishes. It can be reserved for special events, parties and weddings, and has a capacity for 300 seated people or 600 standing. The menu, decoration and music may vary, based on the occasion and guests’ demands and budget. Moreover, there are loungers and parasols directly in front of the restaurant, where guests can also be served while on the beach.
